Well the last couple of weeks have been very busy - the wedding season has started and I've already performed at two in early March. Congratulations to Liz and Richard and Kayleigh and Phil! I was also asked back to my regular haunt of the Blue Mountain Golf Club to do four hours (!) of magic at their Mothers Day event. Lots of fun entertaining hundreds of people, if a bit exhausting. As you would expect there were a lot of children there, I don't think I've made so many balloon animals in a long time. At the other extreme I performed at a "Come Dine With Me" style dinner party - doing an hour of magic for just five guests. This included my lottery prediction. I write down six numbers between 1 and 49 and put them into a sealed box. The party guests then choose six numbers between them, open the box and find that I've predicted exactly what they've gone for - at odds of 14,000,000 to 1 against!
Something different again on Wednesday/Thursday as I travelled up to Earls Court Olympia for two days at a trade show. IT consultancy i-Realise had a stand and wanted to make sure that it stood out from the rest, so they asked me to go along and amaze people. It certainly had the desired effect and brought many prospective customers onto the stand (which ended up being one of the busiest at the show). Thanks to Claudette for arranging everything. If your company is going to a trade show and would like to add something special that will attract customers, boost business and keep your staff entertained then get in touch!
