On Friday I was back at my regular slot during magic for passengers at Heathrow airport.
In amongst the people flying home for the weekend and flying off on holiday there were a few special surprises, which you can see in the pictures below. As part of the Doctor Who 50th anniversary celebrations there was a TARDIS in the terminal! I met a group of enthusiastic Star Trek fans, heading off to the Alps, the very lovely Wendy Turner Webster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendy_Turner_Webster) - host of TV's "Pet Rescue" - spent a few minutes chatting about guitars with Willie Adler from US heavy metal group "Lamb of God" (http://www.lamb-of-god.com/) and also did some magic for a mysterious glamorous woman (under the watchful eye of her two bouncers/protectors). She looked "famous" but I couldn't work out who she was until one of the bouncers told me that she is apparently "Sweden's top TV star" (but he wouldn't tell me her name or let me take a photo!). All-in-all a lot of fun and I'll be back doing magic again at Heathrow T5 in a short while. If you're flying out then look out for me, I'll be wearing the purple top hat so should be easy to spot!
