I spent Friday at Heathrow doing magic for the passengers flying out from Terminal 5. It's always a lot of fun and you never know who you are going to meet, although unfortunately there were no celebs this time.
On Saturday I drove over to Windlesham to do some magic at a 70th birthday party. It was being held in the Rashoi restaurant and an interesting factor was that the birthday group only took up half of tables. I'm not sure what the other people in there thought when I arrived and started doing amazing things! I have often worked in restaurants in the past and had to stop myself from entertaining everyone in there and just focus on the birthday group - they were the ones who'd paid for me to be there after all! It was great fun, especially showing some tricks to the younger guests and even teaching one how to make two objects magically swap places (without knowing how she was doing it!) A brilliant night - thanks and congratulations to Mike C. for an excellent birthday party.
