On Saturday I did some magic at Old Orleans in Reading and then drove off to Trunkwell to entertain at the wedding of Luke and Michelle. Trunkwell is a gem of a place hidden away just South of Reading and without a good map or satnav you would probably never find it! For this wedding they had pulled out all of the stops - the wedding car wasn't just a RollsRoyce it was a very flash Overfinch Range Rover (which, if you know your cars, is something rather special) and had a great personalised number plate. The wedding guests were dressed to the nines and I had a great time performing close-up magic and mind-reading for everyone. There were also a handful of youngsters there who enjoyed some balloon creations - teddy bears, elephants, puppydogs, hats, swords and more. As the guests sat down for the wedding breakfast there were several excellent speeches with some heartfelt comments from family and suitably amusing stories from the best man. A great wedding reception and who would have thought the weather could be so pleasant and mild in mid-November?! Congratulations to Luke and Michelle - all the best for your future together.
