The TV audition went really well. I met up with my three magician for hire team-mates (Lee Smith, Ravi Mayar and Vince Lynch) and, after a few coffees and a bit of strategic planning, we headed into the Endemol building. There we met some of the other teams looking to appear on the show and were then shown into a plush office to run through the mechanics of this new quiz. It seems like a lot of fun and will be a good addition to the Saturday night TV schedule. We were then interviewed as a group and demoed some card/coin magic. The whole thing felt really good and we should hear in the next couple of weeks whether we were successful and will be asked to the BBC studios to film later this month. Fingers crossed!
Being in a TV building you can't help looking out for celebrities. It was quite late in the day when we were there so my best spot was the incredibly tall Richard Osman who is the adjudicator on BBC2's "Pointless" show. Maybe not an a-list world class celeb, but a really nice guy all the same.
