I'm sometimes asked to help out with good causes and was recently contacted by Simone at Reunite.  This is a charity that helps the parents of abducted children who have been taken across international borders.  You can find out all about their projects, events, news and resources on their website (http://www.reunite.org/).

To help raise the profile of the charity they have asked a number of celebrities to pose for a picture wearing a Reunite t-shirt and I was delighted to be included as one of their (admittedly rather minor!) celebrities.  You can see the picture alongside.

Please take a look at the Reunite website and support this worthy cause.

On Saturday I entertained at a 50th birthday party in Iver Heath during the afternoon (congratulations Richard!) and then drove over to the Crowne Plaza hotel in Marlow for a charity event in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.  The place was absolutely packed with guests who were all dressed to the nines and ready to enjoy an evening of food, drink, music and entertainment - all for a very good cause.  The toastmaster kept everyone in order (just about!) and a disco and soul band provided the music, while I provided the magic.  It's always a pleasure to perform at events like this, everyone is relaxed and in the mood to enjoy themselves and the magic went down really well - I can't remember the last time I've been asked for my business card so often!  Many thanks to Sarah, Jo and the others for organising such a great event and special thanks to everyone who came along and gave so generously.
